This was recording in one day at Sun Mountain Studios. Wesley picked up Simone’s White Falcon and we cranked up an old 1964 Fender Deluxe. The clouds parted and the sun came out. The song felt like the release we have been wanting since the beginning of the Covid era. It was recorded with pure exuberance and excitement. The humanity on the track is real. The processed 1973 Fender Rhodes provides little leaks of light that signify the Brightside.
