Vignettes is the first solo record from Wesley Schultz of the Lumineers. The ground rules for this album were simple: choose emotional covers, do simple arrangements, and record them quickly. A lot of the basic performances were recorded to my Nagra 4s analog tape machine. The goal was to have immediacy and danger.
